My experience
The build quality of the CH-precision L1 is of industrial beauty. Built to last and with a modular construction that permits future add-ons, as well as downloadable firmware updates. The back panel has a full complement of In/Out jacks supporting both XLR and RCA. The L1 is fully balanced and performs optimally in that mode.

The L1 belongs definitely in the neutral camp, extremely well-articulated and open, clean, strong, direct, extremely transparent, precise, fast and refined, but also creating beautiful, emotional responses.

The CH-precision L1 is one of the most audibly invisible line controls..
