My experience
The CH Precision X1 External Power Supply is a high-grade linear DC regulator designed for CH’s 1‑Series components. It features dual oversized transformers (analog + digital), dedicated mains filtering, and cascaded regulation for ultra‑low noise.

By powering the unit externally, the X1 allows the internal supply of connected gear to shut down, reducing electromagnetic and mechanical noise. Compatible with the D1, C1, P1, and L1, it dramatically lowers noise floor and raises dynamic range, detail, and musical realism.

Its modular design supports one or two regulated output boards, making it scalable for dual‑mono setups.
