The experience
Great turntable, lots of fun and The Aries 3 can be taken to a performance level that comes very close to the ultimate resolution.

To optimise stability and damping, the Aries 3 chassis is built as a sandwich of two layers of 5/8-inch polished black acrylic, top and bottom, with a 5/8-inch aluminum center section. This provides an inert, quiet and stable platform for the platter and pickup arm. The plinth sits on four aluminum cones whose bottoms are hardened steel balls. This cone suspension, in combination with the laminated chassis, is solidly rigid. The cones are adjustable for levelling. 

This VPI Aries 3 has got the Nordost Valhalla silver wired arm upgrade and comes with a custom made dustcover and record clamp. 

My experience
One of the most amazing “monitor” speakers I have heard. Close your eyes and you forget the music coming out of a speaker and no way they sound like monitor speakers. The TAD CR1 sound like full-grown floor standing speakers. Quite a beautiful experience. A compact size, point-source sound of super high quality that will make you forget about the existence of the speaker. My experience
The SS-101 is a fully balanced beast of a stereo amplifier. For those who want the very best in performance, the SS-101 is the statement stereo amplifier you want to experience. The SS-101 pulls you right into the music, where many super stereo amps fail to do so. The SS-101 is super neutral, creates a very suiting tranquility, ensures excellent signal to noise ratio and makes it possible to reveal every micro detail in the recordings. The performance of the SS-101 redefines how close to live music you can get by listening to reproduced music. For me, who wants the very best, there is no finer choice than the SS-101.

The SS-101 amplifier is really huge with at both sides massive radiators and is 2x 50W in class A.

My experience
If you are not familiar with additional Subwoofers and in this case a Limited REL Carbon Special subwoofer you are up for an amazing experience. As was I, very sceptic and a non believer when it comes to add subwoofers in a High-end audio setup.

Oh, what have I been wrong. It is not about creating super bass and or blowing you out of your sweet spot. No, it it adding a complete new frequency spectrum. An amazing experience adding and completing a total soundstage. I couldn’t believe my trained ears for hours..a true addiction!

My experience
The C50 is the first McIntosh preamplifier to combine stereo analog sources with four assignable digital inputs. Music playback from computer programs/streamers are available through a dedicated USB input. A programmable Eight band tone controls allow you to personalise audio shaping. A great feature is that the C50 can be combined with a multi-channel system using the Home Theater Pass Through function.

My experience
One of my very favourites, when it comes to embracing the high end sound of the past. With the separation of its power department you will enjoy a true and honest sound. Nice and compact, simple in design you will be able to embrace a true magical dynamic range. The detail and depth is definitely an ear opener. Thumbs up for the time when Mark Levinson made a High-end difference.

My experience
It concerns an official Aavik upgrade from an U-300 to an U-380 for Demo purposes. An amazing DAC and an excellent phono stage. The U-380’s DAC is equally excellent transparent and has a special grounded smoothness. The Aavik U-380 integrated amplifier delivers the finest class-D sound, strong and superbly controlled bass… and 100% musical and very convincing. The U-380 is equipped with a phono preamp. The Aavik U-380 delivers 2×300 watts to 8ohm.

A fantastic product and great value for the money…

This is a wonderful fluid-sounding player. It flows with the music, delivering changes of pace and dynamic shifts with ease, produces a stable and precise sound stage and smooth, full-bodied tonality combined with a subtle midrange. The CD5 has the control, timing and drive to embrace you with a great musical experience. The CD5 works well with every type of music. It simply doesn’t get much better than this.
