My experience
The Luxman Black Limited Edition Centennial L-509Z integrated amplifier celebrates Luxman’s 100-year legacy with a stunning black and gold design, limited to 100 units worldwide. It features the advanced LIFES1.0 feedback system in both preamp and power stages, reducing distortion and enhancing thermal stability for natural, expressive sound. Delivering 120W per channel into 8 ohms (220W into 4 ohms), it employs three-stage Darlington bipolar transistors in a quadruple-parallel push-pull configuration for robust, detailed amplification.

Connectivity includes four RCA inputs, two balanced XLR inputs, and a high-quality phono stage supporting both MM and MC cartridges. The amplifier offers precise sound shaping with three-band tone control plus midrange adjustment. Its solid build features a 600VA transformer, large filter capacitors, peel-coated circuit boards to reduce capacitance, and smooth LECUA-EX volume control.
